The Institute of Corrosion Northwest Branch invites you to its Annual General Meeting: “Corrosion: Past, Present and Future”. The AGM will follow talks by two guest speakers on the following topics:

• 200 years of Cathodic Protection, (Paul Lambert Mott MacDonald): Paul will give an outline of Humphry Davy’s discovery and its use in corrosion prevention.
• Non-Destructive Testing Challenges in the Net Zero World (Dr Patricia Conder, ESR Technology) This talk will look cross sector from Hydrogen and CCUS to Wind and Solar to share some insight into the challenges the transition to Net Zero poses to NDT and how corrosion and materials engineers can assist meeting these challenges

The NW Branch AGM will follow the talks, with the following agenda:
